LOOK: ARIANA GRANDE Officially Becomes Honorary Citizen Of Manchester!
You read that right. The City of Manchester has officially granted the pop superstar an honorary citizenship recognition for her invaluable response to the horrifying terror attack that occurred at her concert last May.
After raising funds for the city during the One Love Manchester concert which the "One Last Time" singer headlined herself, the City Council has unanimously voted to make Ariana Grande the first ever honorary citizen of Manchester.
According to The Guardian, Council leader Sir Richard Leese described Ariana as "a young American woman for whom it would have been understandable if she never wanted to see this place again" during the Town Hall meeting attended by some of the family members of the vicious attack victims.
"But no – instead she, as an artist, a performer, was determined that she would not perform again until she had returned to Manchester to perform," he continued.
Ariana Grande is coming back to Manila for her Dangerous Woman concert at the Mall of Asia Arena this August!
