MYXclusive: 'Kita Kita' Proves That Love Is Not Blind
"So what if you're blind? I'll be your eyes and you'll be the tourist guide." - Tonyo
Directed and written by Sigrid Bernardo and produced by direk Bb. Joyce Bernal and Piolo Pascual under Spring Films, Kita Kita is a romantic comedy film that will surely give you a dose of non-stop laughter and good vibes.
Shot entirely in the beautiful country of Japan, the story follows a bubbly tour guide named Lea (Alessandra De Rossi) who suffered from temporary blindness. She later stumbles upon an annoying neighbor named Tonyo (Empoy Marquez) who consistently pays her a visit until they find solace in each other's company and soon form a beautiful bond.
The Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan's astonishing rendition of Air Supply's 1982 classic hit "Two Less Lonely People In The World" was used as the official soundtrack for the film.
