MYXclusive: MYX SLAM JAM 2015 Kicks Off At National University!
This year's MYX Slam Jam kicked off at the home of the Bulldogs: National University!
There was a fun-filled atmosphere in NU all throughout the day which coincided with the educational institution's 115th anniversary! There were different booth activities and a photo corner for students to enjoy!
Everyone was in high spirits as they warmly welcomed MYX VJs Nikki, Erica and Ai and took part in the fun sponsor games!
Students loudly cheered for homegrown opening act Archetype who did covers of famous OPM hits they watched on MYX over the years!
KZ's astounding vocal prowess took the event to another level! The 23-year old singer totally won over the NU audience with her version of "Royals" by Lorde, Eraserheads medley, and her original hits! She wrapped up her jaw-dropping set with a cover of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" and a superb rap verse!
Campus favorites Sponge Cola delivered a huge intensity of energy which made the crowd go wild! The band brought an awesome night to remember as they jammed to their hits "Move On", "Tambay", "Bitiw", plus a mellow piano version of "Jeepney"!
After performing their current MYX Daily Top 10 entry "Iyong Iyong Iyo" which was supposed to be their last song, Sponge Cola gave in to the crowd's shouts for "More!!!" by playing "Tuliro" to close the night with a bang!
That was such a fun night, NU! Thanks for your overwhelming support for MYX!
