LOOK: MIKE SHINODA Shares Throwback Photo With CHESTER BENNINGTON
Following Linkin Park's emotional tribute to their late frontman Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda took to his social media account and shared a throwback photo with the 41 year-old singer alongside other LP members. The co-founding member/rapper captioned the old picture, "1997 or 1998. I think this was the first photo we ever took together."
He fondly recalled how they asked Chester to join the band. Most of them were still college at that time and talked about their plans for the group at a nearby pizza place in UCLA.
Check out the photo below:
1997 or 1998...I think this was the first photo we ever took together. We had just told Chester that we wanted him to join the band. He said he was ready to move out from Arizona to L.A. We went to a pizza place near UCLA to hang out and talk about what to do next. The band was called Xero at the time, and we probably had less than a half a dozen songs. No flame tattoos yet, no red hair yet, most of us were still in college.
