The first ever documentary film to make it to the Metro Manila Film Festival pays tribute to all overseas Filipina workers!

Set in Hong Kong, Sunday Beauty Queen is a film that follows a compelling story about the lives of five Filipina domestic helpers. In a home away from their true home, they found happiness through an annual pageant meant to empower their lives and bring back their dignity. The film is directed by Baby Ruth Villarama.
