WATCH: ED SHEERAN Talks About Meeting Filipinos While Recording For His New Album!
Ed Sheeran confirmed that he recorded some of his new music from the album Divide aboard a ship where he also encountered many Filipino fans!
In his recent guesting on BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show, the 25-year old musician shared his experience when he got on the Queen Mary II cruise ship, the world's largest ocean liner, where he built a studio in it to record some of his songs while sailing from New York, Plymouth, Portsmouth and Southampton,"Because Benny (Blanco) who made the album refuses to fly so we got a boat over...We built one you can break down easily. I think it was in the freezer room. You know where the kitchens are, next to that."
Sheeran also ran into his biggest fans - the Filipinos - while on the boat,"My biggest market in the world is the Philippines and every staff member on the boat was Filipino so I just like had a wave of people come to my room every five minutes asking for selfies. So I just spent my whole time taking pictures with Filipino people, it was great."
Sadly, he didn't get the chance to have a formal dining inside the cruise ship because he forgot his suit!
