The VisMin finalists were named today, August 24 via a special virtual announcement on Facebook Live. The Top 3 songs from the Visayas cluster are "Hinungdan" by Michael Catarina, "Ayaw Na Lang" by Jerika Teodorico, and "Suyo" by Reanne Borela and Noah Alejandre while the Mindanao cluster's Top 3 entries are "Akong Bililhon" by John Cadelina, “Pahuway” by Sherwin Fugoso, and “Kasadya” by Christian “XT” Valeen Chiu.

Davao-based singer-songwriter Chud Festejo went home with the one million peso grand prize in 2018 for his composition "Nanay Tatay".
