The ongoing pandemic won't stop Lions and Acrobats from celebrating their 10th anniversary as a band.

They may not be able to pull off an actual anniversary gig in bars right now, but they are going to host a virtual celebration which is set to happen this August 28 via Zoom. The band shared that they've been planning for a special show for their 10th anniversary since late last year but everything got scrapped because of the global health crisis.

According to vocalist Icoy Rapadas and guitarist Jim Lopez, this is the longest relationship they've ever had. "Staying together after 10 years to me is already success itself, and I'm proud of myself and the guys for still making music together and still being great friends through an entire decade," Icoy shared.

Aside from the special Zoom hangout, LAA also unveiled a new filter which you can use on your Instagram Story entries so you can join the fun in celebrating the band's milestone.

Moreover, the independent rock band will release three live versions of their songs off their Live In OTO set so better get ready!

Lions and Acrobats is one of the many OPM acts who were devastated upon hearing the news of Route 196's closure. The said music venue became LAA's second home as they performed most of their special shows there.

In case you didn't know, the band filmed their MYX Bandarito performance of "Whiskey" at Route 196! Check it out below:
