GLOC-9 Says "Music Is For Everybody" In Latest Post
Earlier this week, rising R&B artist Jason Dhakal sparked mixed reactions with his spicy tweets about "finding it weird how people will automatically give a platform to rich artista kids with mediocre talent". He even quote-tweeted a video of up-and-coming rapper Michael Pacquiao, the son of boxing champ-turned-senator Manny Pacquiao, and wrote "Shit like this makes me want to stop making music honestly."
This became a hot topic and generated a lot of debate online. While some agreed with Jason's observations regarding "unfairness" in the music industry, others defended Michael's rap skills and his right to pursue his passion. And now, OPM icon Gloc-9 has weighed in on the issue and shared his own insights on social media.
On his post, the award-winning rapper wrote "Music is for everybody! Mayaman o mahirap kilala man o hindi.
Gloc-9 also shared some very motivating words of wisdom to everyone. LABAN! TUMBA! TAYO! LABAN ULIT!!!"
