The supposed team-up teleserye of Nadine Lustre and Julia Montes has been officially canceled due to the still ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Announced last February, the action-drama series Burado was one of Dreamscape Entertainment's most anticipated projects which would have also starred Zanjoe Marudo, Paulo Avelino, and Thai actor Denkhun Ngamne.

Dreamscape told ABS-CBN News that the ambitious series will no longer be pushing through as some of its scenes set to be filmed internationally are "difficult to mount at this time." Aside from the Philippines, Burado was due to shoot in Thailand, Cambodia, and India.
