Tarsier Records Produces 2 Out Of 5 Tracks From 88Rising’s ‘semilucent’
Has ‘semilucent’ taken over your playlist or have you been living under a rock? On July 31, international mass media company 88Rising released their first mixtape with the localized imprint. ‘PARADISE RISING’ is dedicated to establishing a presence for Filipino artists in the West and globally.
88Rising’s first attempt to seek talent in the archipelago didn’t take time to break a sweat. The EP consisted of artists from a stellar Manila music scene.
In an Instagram post, Moophs (Tarsier Records label head + producer and co-collaborator with Leila Alcasid on “Clouds”) shared a bit about what went on behind the scenes to seal the deal for them and Kiana V with “Safe Place”.
