Live-Action 'Mulan' Goes Straight To Disney+ This September
After experiencing several delays, Disney has come to a decision to include the live-action adaptation of Mulan in their Disney+ catalog — but there's a catch!
According to a report from Deadline, the film starring Liu Yifei will drop on September 4 and subscribers of the streaming service will have to pay an extra 30 dollars on top of their monthly fee just to see the film. "In the US, Canada, New Zealand, and a number of countries, we will be offering on Disney Plus, the epic Mulan on a premiere access beginning September 4, the price point being $29.99 in the US," Disney CEO Bob Chapek said in a statement.
Disney+ has yet to make its way in the Philippines but worry not, the good news is Mulan will still be screened in select cinemas that are fully operational. The actual theatrical release date has yet to be confirmed.
