4 Times BTS' Jungkook Proved That No One Covers Justin Bieber Songs Like Him
Karen Jane Ng
BTS' Jungkook is one of the biggest Belieber out there. If him naming Justin Bieber as his musical influence time and time again and him thinking of using 'Justin Seagull' - a portmanteau of the Canadian pop sensation's first name and the municipal bird of his hometown Busan - as his English stage name aren't enough proof of that, maybe his song covers are.
The K-pop superstar has been blessing us with his take on the Biebs' solo hits and collaborations. And with his soft mesmerizing tone, flawless English enunciation despite not being fluent in the language, and his world-class sound, no one does it like him. Don't believe it? Hear them for yourself:
1. "Nothing Like Us"
A heartbreaking bonus track off Justin's Believe Acoustic album in 2013 and just like the original version, JK sang it and left our emotions all over the place.
One common ground between JB and JK is tha they both struggled before reaching where they are now. This might be the reason why both renditions hurt so good and, yes, it's giving us purpose.
JK definitely stood out in turning this EDM banger collab between David Guetta and JB into a beautiful piano ballad piece. And we're taking it as his romantic ode to us, ARMYs.
4. "10,000 Hours"
This team-up between Justin and country duo Dan+Shay just confirmed we are suckers for the power of love. Now, thanks to JK, we'll always be. Play this on our wedding day, K?
Anyone can do a cover of Justin's songs, but let us tell you one time: No one could even come close to how Jungkook does it. He's the golden maknae after all. Bet by now, JB already knew that just like he already knew our JK.
