Put Yourself In A Trance With POWFU's "Death Bed" Performance At MYX Awards 2020
Canadian singer-songwriter powfu busted out his viral single "death bed" for the MYX Awards 2020, all the way from Vancouver. "I can't be with you guys in person right now, but hopefully, someday," said the rising artist who said "Kamusta" and "Salamat" to his Filipino fans.
powfu, whose real name is Isaiah Faber, sings from the perspective of someone in his death bed, not wanting to leave a lover behind. "Yeah, I don't wanna fall asleep, I don't wanna pass away, I been thinking of our future 'cause I'll never see those days," he sang while accompanied on acoustic guitar by his dad Dave Faber from the band Faber Drive. This year's edition of the awards show also included performances from local and international artists such as Ben&Ben, KZ and Shanti Dope, British singer-songwriter Anne-Marie, and Vietnamese-American artist keshi among others.
