BRIE LARSON Celebrates 4th Anniversary Of Becoming Captain Marvel
The annual San Diego Comic-Con has been home to some of the biggest moments in all of geek culture. Exactly four years ago, Marvel Studios finally introduced us to the MCU's Captain Marvel, no other than Brie Larson.
The Oscar-winning actress took to her socials to celebrate the anniversary of her casting as the "Strongest Avenger." Sharing some never-before-scene behind-the-scenes photos, she wrote: "It’s been the privilege of a lifetime to be your captain marvel. Can’t believe this all started at ComicCon 4 years ago today."

Since the announcement in 2016, Brie has appeared in two Marvel films—her own standalone flick Captain Marvel and the billion-dollar juggernaut Avengers: Endgame—and considering she's one of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes' key players, we can expect to see Captain Carol Danvers to lead the charge in the coming MCU phases. In fact, she'll return in Captain Marvel 2 which is expected to hit cinemas in 2022!
