BTS' "Map Of The Soul: 7" Is Now The Bestselling Album Of 2020

BTS' Map of the Soul: 7 has claimed the title of 2020's bestselling album!
Released in February, it has a combined physical and digital sales of 552,000 in the United States - nearly 150,000 more than The Weeknd’s After Hours which is next on the list.
Meanwhile in South Korea, the album sold at least four million copies. It's the first in the country's history to reach such sales record (via Forbes).
On the other hand, the phenomenal boy group's latest Japanese album Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~ is now the bestselling album in Japan. Released last July 15, it sold 564,000 copies during its first week.
It also debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 115, extending BTS' record as the Korean act with most albums to enter the chart. The new track "Your Eyes Tell", composed by Jungkook, has landed at the No. 1 spot on the World Digital Song Sales chart.
