Vietnamese-American Artist KESHI Is Performing At MYX Awards 2020
Cancel your Saturday plans because Asian-American artist Keshi is officially set to hit the (virtual) stage for the MYX Awards 2020!
To those unaware, Keshi started out playing around in the garage where he learned to produce music. For a while, he worked as a nurse—where he met many Filipino nurses who he call his mommies!—but eventually realised that he wanted to pursue a career in music. From posting his music on SoundCloud, he signed to Island Records where he released his debut EP the reaper.
MYX recently got to talk to the "2 soon" hitmaker where he shared about his latest EP bandaids, a new album coming soon, and a possible collaboration with American trio LANY and fellow Asian acts under 88rising like Joji and Rich Brian. Watch the full MYXclusive interview below:
In early July, Keshi also released the first single titled "more" off his next body of work. It came with a music video showing him singing about the downside of fame while on a moving pickup truck.
