88rising has driven its huge Asian fanbase mad after releasing a cryptic announcement across its social media accounts. The post read: "a new dawn is here. welcome to @paradiserising, a new music collective representing the next wave of artists from the Philippines."

The announcement arrived with a 29-second video montage of the beautiful paradise that is the Philippines. Other than the abovementioned, it also said that the localized label will be unveiling something this July 31st.

report from Forbes revealed that PARADISE RISING is set to "provide music distribution, music rights management, and artists development for Filipino artists, similar to how 88rising has done for their impressive roster of acts."

It also said that a five-track mixtape titled semilucent will drop on July 31st, and will feature pop-R&B singer Kiana Valenciano, pop starlet Leila Alcasid, and soulful R&B star Jason Dhakal among others.
