Rising lo-fi artist Powfu has shared a new song called “17again”! Accompanying the release of the acoustic-driven song is a DIY-style visual that was created and edited by the Canadian act's frequent collaborator and cousin Meliodic.

Powfu has been busy studying and contributing to the lo-fi movement happening around the world, recording and releasing music from his bedroom and building up a legion of followers across his pages in the process. Now, he’s firmly established himself as an important player in bringing the genre into the mainstream, evident in the success of “death bed (coffee for your head)” which samples Filipino-British musician beabadoobee's hit "coffee".

But in this latest release, he swerved a bit and venture to the chill acoustic sound.

‘17again’ OUT EVERWHERE ❤️ hopefully yall dig this chill acoustic style :) #punk #lofi #alternative #17again

This easily reminds us of those acoustic Emo songs from the early and mid 2000s. Check out "17again" by Powfu here:
