ROBERT DOWNEY JR. Lauds Boy Who Saved Sister From Dog Attack
Days after Chris Evans praised Bridger Walker for saving his sister from a dog attack, the Avengers' co-leader Robert Downey Jr. also lauded the 6-year-old's heroic act.
The Iron Man actor remained in character as the brash but tenderhearted Tony Stark and showed us once again that he's not one to be upstaged — not even by Captain America himself. RDJ also gave the Bridger a little video shout-out and even promised something for his next birthday.
"Bridger, you're a rockstar. My name's Robert Downey Jr. I play Tony, it makes me an old friend of Cap's. I hear he's sending a shield your way. I'm gonna do one better. You call me on your next Birthday and I got something special for you. That's a promise. A promise beats a shield", he said.
What could it be? A spot in the Earth's Mightiest Heroes, perhaps? We're excited to find out!
Bridger is recovering well in his home in Wyoming following a successful facial surgery that required 90 stitches on his damaged cheek.
