F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan JC Stewart came up with a 2020 lockdown version of the sitcom's famous theme song "I'll Be There For You" during, well, quarantine. And it caught the attention of no other than Jennifer Aniston aka Rachel Green of the said series!
Jennifer shared it on her Instagram story causing the Irish singer-songwriter's phone to go off hard! "My phone has never blown up quite as much as that morning," JC shared on a MYXclusive interview with VJs Ai dela Cruz and Edward Barber. "I literally woke up and I thought something bad had happened."
How it even reached the Hollywood actress, JC doesn't know but this is what he wants to believe: "We made up a story that was like, what if there's a F.R.I.E.N.D.S reunion group chat and somebody put the video in the group chat? It's completely made up but in my head that's how it happened!"
So yes, JC got the approval of Jennifer whom he admitted to have a significant crush on and from there, he took the chance of sliding into her DMs. Apparently, he didn't get a reply. Watch him tell the funny story here, plus more on his newest single "I Need You To Hate Me" and its accompanying video, as well as his chance encounter with Lewis Capaldi!
