MANILA GREY Perfectly Captures Pulsing Asian Nightlife In “Night Code” Video
MANILA GREY's music video for "Night Code" captures the essence of Asian nightlife: the bright lights of the Far East capturing the pulse of the night and the aggressive flash of tuner cars. It was filmed across various cities during the Filipino-Canadian duo's sold-out tour which included stops in Taipei, Singapore, Manila, and their hometown of Vancouver.
"Night Code" is the second track of Manila Grey's latest mixtape No Saints Loading to get the video treatment. The first was the tropical and vibrant "Silver Skies" visual.
"We feel both visuals capture the essence of the music," the hip-hop R&B duo said in a press statement. "From the warm and lush chords of ‘Silver Skies’ to the shadowy menacing synths of ‘Night Code’. There’s always been a duality in Manila Grey and we thought the contrast of night and day was a perfect way to showcase the two sides of this world that we’ve built. We wanted the fans to experience the light and dark sides of this high speed tropical paradise."

As if that wasn't enough, they also unveiled the ‘slowed + reverb’ version of No Saints Loading with each of the 10 tracks slowed down to 60-70 BPM and edited so as to give them a weightless, dubbed-out vibe.
