Comedian KIM IDOL Passes Away At 41
TV, film and stand-up comedian Michael Argente aka Kim Idol has passed away due to brain arteriovenous malformation. He was 41.
His mother Maria Argente confirmed the news today on her personal Facebook account today, July 13. She wrote: "Anak alam ko lumaban ka para hindi mo kami iwan. Pinaalis mo lang kami ng Ate mo dahil hindi namin kaya na mawala ka. Maraming nagmamahal sayo anak. We love u!"
His good friend and mentor Allan K took to social media to pay tribute to the late comedian.
Kim revealed back in 2015 that he had AVM, a condition in which the blood vessels get tangled and disrupt the flow of blood and oxygen. Last week, he was reportedly rushed to the hospital after passing out while on duty at a quarantine facility in Philippine Arena.
Kim is best known for being a part of the noontime show Eat Bulaga. He also appeared in the horror-comedy film Ang Darling Kong Aswang in 2009 and was a former writer for Vice Ganda's talk show Gandang Gabi Vice.
