Afraid To Take Risks For Love? ROOM FOR CIELO's New Single "Takbo" Will Help Face Your Fears
"Don’t run away from a love you can run towards instead." That was the message Room For Cielo’s most recent release "Takbo" is trying to convey, according to the rising band’s guitarist and composer Daryl Cielo in our MYXclusive interview.
"This is a love song," he explained further. "'Takbo' is kind of a metaphor about running towards love instead of running away from it. And something special about that song is para siyang may two-person perspective."
If you’ve already listened to other tracks by the alternative pop band, you would notice that "Takbo" is a lot simpler than their "musically complex" previous releases. Give it a listen below:
Asked if the track will be part of an album, vocalist Pael Gutierrez expressed interest in doing one soon "if mabigyan kami ng chance to make one."
Although there appears to be no plan for a full-length release, you can still expect the six-piece act to deliver more eargasmic music in the near future as Daryl teased another single dropping later this year. Until then, watch our MYXclusive interview with Room For Cielo below.
Aside from Daryl and Pael, the band also consists of bassist PJ Ballares, keyboardist Emile Bagtas, guitarist Ezra Caliguia, and drummer Justin Felias.
