SHANTI DOPE Would Rather Make Songs With 'Chill Vibes'
Don't expect Shanti Dope to release an album while the country is still on lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking with MYX, the young rapper shared how he doesn't feel like it's the right time to release a full-length project.
"Masarap siguro maglabas ng [album] 'pag pwede nang magpa-events," he said in his latest MYXclusive interview last July 10.
Last June 25, Shanti premiered the new track "Lutang" with frequent collaborator DJ Klumcee, Bry Mnzno, Buddahbeads, and Ejac. It's a song about being stuck on a love that you just can't resist.
As you may recall, the youngin found himself in a messy controversy in early 2019 after the country's drug enforcement agency flagged his song "Amatz" for supposedly promoting the use of illegal drugs.
