HONNE Shares More Details On Possible Collab With BRUNO MAJOR, NIKI
In an earlier Twitter Q&A, HONNE teased another song with Indonesian artist NIKI in the works and revealed that they are down to do a collab with American trio LANY. But during an exclusive press conference with Philippine media, another name came up when the London duo was asked about future music collaborations.
"One of the people we messaged during lockdown is Bruno Major," said James Hatcher. "I think that will be a really great collaboration for us."
Andrew Clutterbuck was quick to add that they have actually been in touch with a lot of artists other than the To Let A Good Thing Die hitmaker since the lockdown. However, he added that they're "not huge fans of sending music out or having people send music to us to work on it that way. We’d rather get in a room with an artist and work it out in person. I just feel like there’s more of a connection. I think ultimately a better song comes out of it."
They shared a bit more detail about a second song with NIKI. All smiles, James said, "We already have another song with [her], so that will be coming out at some point for sure. It’s quite a good one actually. I’m kinda excited for that one."
As for releasing an extended version of the no song without you album cut "iloveyoumorethanicansay", James acknowledged that the tight run-time has probably caused frustration among fans. "Maybe that one could be extended at one point. We’ll see," he teased. Listen to the entire no song without you mixtape below:
