Every creative knows how frustrating it is to have writer's block. Luckily for Janine TeƱoso, she was able to overcome this during the quarantine.

The Viva artist recently shared in a MYXclusive interview how she was able to keep her creative juices flowing again. Admitting that she was at fault for her predicament after refusing to "cultivate the inspiration", Janine went to find a solution. "I challenge myself every week na meron akong masulat kahit wala siyang melody," she told MYX. "Pine-pressure ko yung sarili ko para makagawa ako ng kanta. Para lang at the end of the week may matapos ako, may ma-accomplish ako."

She came to realize, "When you really push yourself into doing something talagang it happens. When you put your heart and mind into it, it just really blooms... So ‘yun yung ginagawa ko ngayon para maka-complete ako ng isang album. Just keeping myself busy with writing and creating melodies."

On the side, the "Di Na Muli" singer has also collaborated with labelmates The Juans on a new song called "Bakit ‘To Nangyari Sa’tin" which will be released this Friday, July 10. According to Janine, the song written by lead vocalist and keyboardist Carl Guevarra was pitched to her last year. It was only during quarantine that they got to work on it.
