SHEPPARD Recalls Unforgettable Moment In The Philippines
Karen Jane Ng
Five years have passed yet Aussie indie-pop band Sheppard hasn't forgotten about their last visit to the Philippines!
During a MYXclusive interview with Amy, Emma and George Sheppard, the siblings behind the hit "Geronimo" looked back at the time they set foot in the country and even called it a 'special lifelong memory'. "The main thing we took away was when we arrived at the airport and there was close to a thousand people waiting for us," lead vocalist George shared. "That hasn't happened anywhere in the world. That didn't even happen in Australia. So we felt like true rock stars. It was a really nice reception. You guys are very generous fans!"
He continued lauding the Filipino fans' passion. "I felt like that anyone who came to the show was at the aiport as well. Like, if you're a fan, you're a fan."
That said, the band can't wait to come back here. But until things return to normal, at least we have new music to look forward to every month - the latest being "Symphony".
The band talked about the new single and their future plans plus gave a special message to Filipino fans in the MYXclusive interview below:
