CHRIS HEMSWORTH Is Ready To Bulk Up For 'Hulk Hogan' Biopic
Thor star Chris Hemsworth is ready to immortalize the "Immortal One" on the big screen. The Australian hunk is set to play wrestling megastar Hulk Hogan in a biopic.
Chris is already one buff dude but he's willing to bulk up even more for the project. In a new interview with Total Film magazine, the actor explained the transformation he's set to undergo: "As you can imagine, the preparation for the role will be insanely physical. I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor."
The Extraction star added that he'll immerse himself into the world of professional wrestling: "And then there is the accent as well as the physicality and the attitude. I will also have to do a deep dive into the rabbit hole of the wrestling world, which I’m really looking forward to doing."
The wrestling biopic is "deep under development" over at Netflix according to Hemsworth and no release date has been discussed yet. The project will helmed by Joker director Todd Phillips.
