'Conjuring 3' Could Be Pushed Back To 2021
Horror fans may have to wait until 2021 to see the third installment in the Conjuring franchise.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is slated for release this September but Deadline is reporting that the folks over at Warner Bros. aren't that confident with pushing through with its release. The report says: "We’re hearing that New Line’s The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It is poised to depart its current September 11 release date to 2021." Deadline also notes that the studio will reassess their release strategies by next week.
Considering moviegoers may not be ready to hit the cinemas by September due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it wouldn't come as a surprise if the studio ends up delaying the film's release.
'Conjuring 3' will see the return of Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren. The horror flick will step out of the iconic haunted house to take the creeps into the courtroom with the main focus being the murder trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson.
