Music, other than jumpstarting a healthy lifestyle, is what kept Filipino rapper Quest busy during quarantine. In fact, he's soon ready to serve two new EPs he has been working on!
First in line is Pagpupugay, a compilation of stripped-down versions of his songs which will be dedicated to the pandemic frontliners. "I just wanted to come up with a tribute to all our frontliners, and I have all the time in the world so might as well do it," he told VJs Ai dela Cruz and Edward Barber during a MYXclusive interview.
Already on its final stage, the mix will include new versions of "Sige Lang," "Saludo" featuring Rhap Salazar, and "Digmaan" featuring Keiko Necesario.

Few weeks after Pagpupugay's release, Quest aims to put out another EP titled Daydreams and Nightmares. "Everything that went through my head during the quarantine, I just wrote it down. Whether it's battling your inner demons, whether it's pursuing your dreams regardless of what you're going through, nabuo yung Daydreams and Nightmares," he shared.
And what makes it even more special is because it will have the same sound engineer as the one who works with American rapper J. Cole!
Watch him talk more about it in the interview below, as well as who the best or GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) rappers are for him, and how he lost more than 30 pounds during quarantine!
