Glaiza De Castro took to Twitter last night to announce that her verified Instagram account @glaizaredux was compromised.

The singer and actress revealed that she tried securing her account but only got error messages.

She also tried sending playful messages to the hacker via email and posted their “conversation”. Likewise, her fans gave some helpful tips in regaining access to her account.

Glaiza also revealed that the hacker even deactivated her account last night and asked for money afterwards.

After stressing out for more than 12 hours, Glaiza finally recovered her Instagram account which has over 1.1 million followers.
Anyway gaiz, try na muna nating mag chill, may mga tumutulong naman at sobrang nakaka bawas ng stress. Pero medyo nakaka praning lang. Kaya, manonood muna ako ng Eternal Monarch.

She shared a new post on IG as proof! "Gaiz pinangatawanan ni @glaizaredux ang username niya. Nagbalik siya! 🙏🏻 Maraming salamat sa mga nag abot ng concern, tumulong at nag dasal. Sorry din sa mga nabahala at di nakatulog," she captioned her selfie.
She also reminded her fans to be more cautious. "Grabe, sa panahon ngayon hindi lang talaga pisikal ang krimen, at mas nakakatakot, hindi mo nakikita ang mukha ng kalaban. Kaya ingat tayo sa mga naki click natin, mga natatanggap nating emails or links at mga binibigay nating impormasyon online."
