New rumors are making the rounds all over social media that Ryan Reynolds could be making his return to DC to reprise his role as Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern. Industry insider Grace Randolph first broke the news on Twitter, claiming that she already spoke with two sources who told her that the Deadpool actor is in talks with Warner Bros. to make a cameo in the upcoming Snyder Cut.

"Now that I’ve heard it from a second source it seems word is indeed getting out and so I can confirm the #SnyderCut cameo I’ve been teasing is indeed Ryan Reynolds for #GreenLantern!! I’m hearing WB is working on putting the deal together now to make it official," Randolph wrote.

Reynolds played the comic book character in 2011 but the film was poorly received by both fans and critics. He'd later make the jump to Marvel and found huge success playing the fourth wall-breaking outlaw. He even went as far as taking a jab at his portrayal of the DC hero.
