The still ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has claimed the lives of nearly 500,000 people in the world including those of healthcare workers and other frontliners. Recently, the University of the East (UE) Jam Sessions released their first ever single titled "Lalaban Tayo" which serves as a tribute to those who continue to "risk their own lives on the front line and go beyond their call of duty."

The song also arrived with a music video that showcases videos from the 34 student musicians from SHS to college of UE Manila and UE Caloocan, including The Voice Teens contestant Drei Sugay.

"Lalaban Tayo" is composed by Jenny Legapi, with music arrangements by Choi Felipe and executive produced by Tommy Tanchanco. Watch the UE Jam Sessions' tribute to modern-day heroes.
