JD MUSTACHO Breaks Silence Regarding Sexual Assault Allegations
Weeks after being booted out of his own band, former Calein vocalist JD Mustacho is finally breaking his silence regarding the rape allegations thrown at him.
JD, who went on a brief social media hiatus, aired his statement via his recently reactivated personal Facebook account. "I had consensual and short term relationships in the past, but I have never ever assaulted anyone. Never did I intend to hurt or step on anyone. I now realize that some of our actions may be misinterpreted and these can cause complications if not delivered in the right manner."
"I would like to sincerely apologize to the people who are affected and to those whom I have disappointed. Rest assured that I understand the consequences, learn from this experience and strive to be a better individual moving forward."
Last June 11, Twitter user Sam Angela Santos posted a lengthy thread exposing JD's alleged misconduct toward her sister. "March noong ni-rape mo ang kapatid ko, na itinuring kang idolo sa napakatagal na panahon," she tweeted alongside messages from other women who shared their own experience with the band frontman.
Matagal tagal na panahon din bago ako na-umpog at nagkaroon ng lakas ng loob gawin to at para masabi ko kung anong klaseng tao ka talaga, @jdmustacho JOHN DALE MUSTACHO.
