Wrestling Legend THE UNDERTAKER Announces Retirement
WWE legend Mark Calaway aka The Undertaker has announced his retirement from active competition after a stellar 30-year run in the world of professional wrestling.
The announcement was made during the final episode of his docuseries The Last Ride which covers the Deadman's rise atop the wrestling industry. According to the 55-year-old, he felt like now's the time to finally hang up his boots. "I'm at a point, it's time this cowboy really rides away," the multi-time WWE champion said. "There's nothing left for me to conquer or accomplish... The game has changed. It's time for new guys to come up. The time just seems right."
Widely considered as one of pro wrestling's biggest stars, The Undertaker made his debut in 1990 at the Survivor Series PPV and instantly became a pop culture icon thanks to his spooky yet badass gimmick. He worked his final match at this year's WrestleMania against AJ Styles.
