BTS Becomes First Foreign Act After MICHAEL JACKSON To Top Japan's Oricon Chart

First, The Beatles and now, Michael Jackson! The way BTS has been breaking records left and right is really beyond compare!
The phenomenal boy group just topped the mid-year album sales rankings of Japan's biggest music chart Oricon with Map of the Soul: 7 which has accumulated around 430,000 sales for the first half of the year. This makes BTS the first non-Japanese act to peak at No. 1 since Michael Jackson's Thriller in 1984. Now, that's what we call legendary behavior.
Last year, BTS tied The Beatles' record of having three No. 1 albums in the Billboard 200 chart in just a year with Love Yourself: Tear, Love Yourself: Answer and Map of the Soul: Persona.
