Sir Ian Holm, who played Bilbo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit has died at the age of 88. Holm’s played the older Bilbo with lots of warmth and mischief, and brought a lot of emotion to the role. The films wouldn’t be the same without him.
