RONNIE LIANG Gets Presented With Meritorious Achievement Medal By Philippine Army

OPM crooner turned army reservist Ronnie Liang was awarded by the Philippine Army for answering the call to fight COVID-19.

The "Ngiti" hitmaker received two awards: Meritorious Achievement Medal and Disaster Relief Rehabilitation Operation Ribbon for his initiative as a COVID-19 frontliner.

Sharing the honor on Instagram, Ronnie wrote: "I would like to share these awards Meritorious Achievement Medal (MAM) Disaster Relief & Rehabilitation Operations Ribbon (DRRO) to all the men & women in uniform who answered the call of duty in the fight against Covid19."

The singer began his volunteer work back in 2018 and made headlines earlier this year for completing his military training. He is now serving the country as a second lieutenant in the Philippine Army.
