See Our Fave Disney Characters Reimagined In Korean Hanbok
Karen Jane Ng
Without a doubt, there are tons of incredible artists out there sharing their imaginative original works to the world, but ask us now and we'll say Wooh Nayoung is our current number one. She's a Korean digital illustrator under the pseudonym Obsidian who uses the Korean traditional clothing called Hanbok as the center of her masterpieces and give it some twist.
If you love Korean culture as much as you love Disney movies, then you'll definitely appreciate her just like we do. Nayoung creates reimagined versions of iconic Disney heroes and villans as if they're part of a historical K-drama, painting them into wearing Hanbok. And truly, this fusion is an otherworldly sort of visual treat!
She also extends her artistic flair to other animated characters like The Simpsons and television series like Game of Thrones. Make sure to check out all her works on her Instagram: @woohnayoung or through her website: woohnayoung.com. But for sneak peek, we curated her DisneyxKdrama series in the gallery above!
