Listening To HONNE's "No Song Without You" Is Making Us Want To Spend All Day In Bed

HONNE summons feelings of ease and contentment in their latest release "no song without you", the first taste of their upcoming third album. Clocking in at 2 minutes and 41 seconds, it makes a bold declaration: "I'd be nothing without you / There'd be no song without you."

The track was originally scheduled for release on June 5, but the English electronic duo—comprised of Andy Clutterbuck and James Hatcher—decided to push it back to amplify black voices in the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests.

In late May, the duo let fans in on the making of their forthcoming project. "At the start of 2020 we went to Los Angeles and set up a little studio in a rickety old house in Silverlake," they wrote in an Instagram post. "We spent 3 weeks writing day and night, and wrote some songs that are very special to us. This is a bit of a new chapter for HONNE which is scary and exhilarating all at the same time."
