The members of Calein announced that they have parted ways with frontman JD Mustacho after the latter was accused of sexual abuse by a fan.

Drummer Paul Regalado posted the band's official statement announcing that they have severed ties with their lead vocalist personally and professionally.

The post was captioned "Music is a refuge, not an avenue for abuse" alongside the hashtag #NoMeansNo.

Last June 11, a girl named Sam Angela Santos shared stories of JD's alleged misconduct. She began the lengthy Twitter thread saying that the singer raped her sister.

As of this writing, JD Mustacho has yet to address the issue and his Twitter account has been deactivated.
