Here's Why GIRLS' GENERATION Fans Are Tweeting #SonesAreStillHereForSNSD

Girls' Generation celebrated their 10th debut anniversary with the album Holiday Night in 2017 and that was the last time they promoted as an eight-member group.
Today, fans are reassuring their idols with the hashtag #SonesAreStillHereForSNSD. This came about after an alleged insider from their label SM Entertainment tweeted "#GirlsGeneration need you" with a broken heart emoji. The source said that a full group comeback won't be possible unless all the members decide to renew contracts.
Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun already cut ties with SM in 2017 to focus on their solo careers.

Whether that Twitter thread is valid or not, it won't change the fact that for Sones, it's #GG4EVA.
