Kim Chiu once again became the subject of criticism after a video of her dancing to her viral hit "Bawal Lumabas" made the rounds online. Some social media users jumped to conclusions, claiming that the video was shot along major thoroughfare EDSA, and got the MMDA involved.

Today, a statement from her talent agency Star Magic revealed that the actress has already spoken with MMDA general manager Jojo Garcia via Zoom.

Apparently, Kim initiated the meeting where she reiterated that the video "was not taken along EDSA but in a parking lot adjacent to a road" and that the vehicle was "not moving when the 5-seconder video was taken."

Star Magic added, "MMDA accepted Kim’s explanation and although SHE DID NOT COMMIT ANY TRAFFIC VIOLATION with her act, GM Garcia still reminded her to always adhere strictly to traffic rules and regulations."
