If you're one of Lili Reinhart's millions of social media followers, you probably already know that she is an outspoken advocate of body positivity and mental health. And yet, the 23-year old actress has kept most of her personal life to herself...until today.

Lili took to social media today to invite fans to come out and join an LGBTQ+ for Black Lives Matter protest taking place in West Hollywood and, in the process, came out as bisexual. "Although I've never announced it publicly before, I am a proud bisexual woman," the Riverdale star wrote in an Instagram story update.

Earlier this week, she also tweeted support for the Black Lives Matter protests. She said, "I want to say that I am ashamed of the racism that exists in this country. We are taught to look at our police officers as helpful and friendly when we learn about 'leaders' in elementary school. Our 'leaders' have failed us today."

"I can’t begin to imagine the horror of worrying that you won’t be protected by your 'leaders' because of the color of your skin. I know that white privilege exists and I could never fully understand what it’s like to be oppressed because of my race."

She ended her message, saying "I don’t have all the right words, but I stand by you. #BlackLivesMatter." In a separate Twitter thread, she also encouraged fans to send her the Twitter and Instagram handles of outspoken black activists so she can give them the platform "to say a few words or share their thoughts."

Last month, it was reported that Lili and Riverdale co-star Cole Sprouse have ended their relationship.
