PAPA ROACH's Next Album Will Be Loud And Aggressive, Frontman Confirms
Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix confirms that their next album will sound a lot heavier and aggressive.
Appearing on Zippo Encore Live with Jose Mangin, Jacoby said that the nu metal band has been busy writing material for the forthcoming album, their follow-up to 2019's Who Do You Trust. "Some of it’s just heavy and nuts and just aggressive with these massive, big, pummelling riffs. And then there’s other stuff that’s that kind of experimental all-over-the-place-type stuff. We wrote this other song, like a ballad, where it’s just guitar and vocals, and it’s so stirring and emotional. This time has definitely stirred up something in the band that’s coming out really cool in the music."
The "Last Resort" singer also revealed that they're set to release a new single this year and fans can expect the album to drop in full next year. Check out the interview here:
