'Terrace House Tokyo' Cancels Latest Season Following Death Of HANA KIMURA

Japanese reality show Terrace House has announced the cancelation of its current season following the death of cast member Hana Kimura.

The show's website shared an official statement regarding its cancellation: "We would like to express our sincere condolences for the death of Hana Kimura, who appeared on the program. We also deeply mourn the bereaved families."

The website added: "Regarding 'TERRACE HOUSE TOKYO 2019-2020,' we have decided to cancel the production. We take this issue very seriously and would like to continue to earnestly respond to it." The reality show's fifth season initially went on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of the most promising stars in the Japanese wrestling circuit,the 22-year-old sensation's suicide is being linked to cyberbullying. In her final post on Instagram, she seemed to have given fans a hint. She wrote: "I love you, have a long, happy life. I’m sorry."
