JUNGKOOK, MINGYU, EUNWOO & JAEHYUN Issue Apology Over Bar Visit Amid New Outbreak

Korean news site Dispatch recently reported that BTS' Jungkook, Seventeen's Mingyu, Astro's Eunwoo and NCT 127's Jaehyun went clubbing in Itaewon amidst new cases of COVID-19 at the district which their respective labels have confirmed.

All four idols' respective agencies Big Hit Entertainment, Pledis, Fantagio, and SM Entertainment stated that they visited a restaurant and a club in the area on April 25 but did not go to the same venue where a second wave of infections transpired in May.

They underwent voluntary testing, came out negative, and our now in self-quarantine. Reflecting on their actions, the idols said they were sorry for not faithfully participating in the efforts of social distancing.

Last week, Winner's Mino also issued an apology after performing at a club. "We apologize for causing everyone concern. We will be more mindful and ask [Song Mino] to carefully follow the rules of personal hygiene and social distancing," YG Entertainment said.
