Riordan later followed it up with an official statement assuring fans that they will be heavily involved in the making of the show. "Hey Percy Jackson fans, for the past decade, you've worked hard to champion a faithful on-screen adaptation of Percy Jackson's world. Some of you have even suggested it would be a great series for Disney+." Check out the full statement here:
The critically-acclaimed novel series spawned two blockbuster films with Logan Lerman in the titular role — Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief in 2010 and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters in 2013. Other details about the Disney+ adaptation have yet to be disclosed.
