LANY Announces First Single Off Upcoming Album
It's been nearly two years since LANY rolled out their last album Malibu Nights, and fans have started to grow impatient. But today, the American indie pop band has finally announced the lead single off their upcoming third album mama's boy.
"'good guys' - the first single from 'mama’s boy' - drops wednesday everywhere around the world. love u," the three-piece band shared on social media, posting a picture of frontman Paul Jason Klein, guitarist Les Priest, and drummer Jake Goss inside a vehicle.
A week ago, the band released a statement explaining the title of their forthcoming album. "Now that I'm in the middle of realizing and actualizing my dreams, I've developed a deep appreciation and love for the place that built me," it read. "This is us knowing exactly who we are and embracing ourselves fully for the first time as a band, and we've done our absolute best to make album 3 as perfect as possible... like a freshly mowed yard."
LANY didn't throw out an exact date for the album release, but said that it will be "out this year." That's good enough for us.
